Sometimes I underestimate and forget the authority of when I’m lyfting. Someone I picked up asked to go to a Churches drive thru and I’m like ok fine, then I remembered him saying he’d pay me if I picked him up something to eat, then my mind immediately thought “he wants me to use my card so he can cashapp me whatever amount I paid” and that would be perfectly fine if my bank account at the time wasn’t overdrafted and I wasn’t in over $200 in debt, so immediately I said, “just so you know, I can’t buy anything” in a panicked state as I can’t afford to get myself even further down the hole I was in previously, and he said, “oh....okay. Is it cool if I buy anything?” And i said yeah and I pulled to the window and made sure he was in good reach of whoever he was ordering to. Then he gave me a $5 tip and I realized that was what he meant earlier. I’m still not sure if I handled that correctly
