I’ve been listening to Kendrick since he was Skateboard Kenny, a lil Wayne clone, getting little to no traction. Kendrick flipped the script and went SJW Street Prophet. It’s a common move these days, and unlike the Bubba Smollet’s of this world Kendrick actually has talent.
But he is a lowkey industry plant and sold himself out yonks ago. You didn’t address what I said which isn’t surprising. If you don’t want a white fan saying the N-word on some principle then don’t bring that white fan up on the stage or take money from white people who are saying the word when they listen to your music.
It’s all an act bruh. Kendrick is no academic or thought leader and they had the nerve to give DAMN the Pulitzer, which made as much sense as Obama getting the Nobel Peace prize. This s*** is all fugazi my g.

i don't agree with the macklemore thing either, although i'm sure kendrick fans who disagree with your criticism about him would change their tune when it came to macklemore. that would be hypocritical of me. idk maybe i just choose to not feed into all of that?
is it only critic bait when it works? what if the song wasn't recognized at all? what if kendrick's albums flopped and he didn't win the pulitzer? would that change your opinion on all of this?

Drake challenges Kanye in the area where he's insecure, sales and popularity.
