    Alright ima say it this is a usually related topic to the thread: we need at least a couple new niggas that are arguably better than Drake and Kendrick are at rapping and songwriting

    when they drop all effects and just bring bars. and that makes me sound like an unc. which i am at this point

  • Rap would be more exciting if people rapped. Like actually RAPPED. Not melodic sing-song flows. Rap.

  • Exciting would mean living through a new generation of rap, which hasn’t really been the case since the previous rise of the new school - Drake, Kendrick, Sean, Cole, Meek, A$AP, Travis etc.

    This was the case of organic growth - pre streaming era, when rap was actually about the art and discovery

    the future is on this very site or in threads made by proper, oblivion x, or anyone that tries to put ppl onto new music

    interact with them instead of arguing about drake vs kendrick for the thousandth time or watch the genre "die"
