to who exactly?
3-4 stars (out of 5) by most mainstream critics. Generally positive feedback on socials during its release. It also recently received 4 Billboard awards.
People running itt to say that tpab isnt good for no reason lol
I used the term hate boner for a reason. Niggas stay frothing at the mouth for a chance to talk down on it. Same energy for Some Rap Songs.
Die Lit
depending on how rap sounds within the next 5 years it’s either gonna age amazingly or really badly
Okay for the sake of argument let's say they're fake
They're still broadcasting the album in a positive light wtf lmao
If timeless means garbage now sure.
Oh you just a hater of the sound
that was DAMN
oh yeah im ed
i think damn got a pulitzer because they wanted to give it to him after tpab tbh tho
i think TLOP will fall out of love with most people if kanye keeps tarnishing his legacy if it hasn’t already. people have come out of the whole “let’s praise everything kanye does because he’s a genius” phase and the album isn’t looked at as anything forward thinking at all
If anything Id think thats the one that would hold up the best. Its the only Kanye album that has any significant musical ties to current music but still has all of the things that people like Kanye for and still sounds like a reasonably “adult” album(probably not the right word but whatever). After that is when we get to the trump stuff and into his most recent music which is a weird crosd between gospel and “hello fellow kids” territory.
Cardi B - Invasion of Privacy
We live in a universe where feminists and SJWS run rampant in todays media, I just hope sooner or later people will open their eyes and realize how mid this album truly is
The forced acclaim for that album because it was the politically correct thing to do. Migos never got an acclaimed album like that when IOP was basically a Migos leftovers album.
They also gave her all that acclaim in spite of Nicki
It’s simply not an enjoyable listen. 5 years later, and there’s no replay value
King Kunta, These Walls, Alright, Hood Politics, Momma, Complexion (A Zulu Love)
depending on how rap sounds within the next 5 years it’s either gonna age amazingly or really badly
It's only going to age bad if everyone copies it like what happened to thug
No one is really copying him sides Pierre and smokepurp
This really really really hurts me to say this, but who is talking about Sir Lucious Left Foot in 2020?
already happened tbh. astroworld sunk rodeo.
lotta people i know think astroworld better im inclined to agree aswell
already happened tbh. astroworld sunk rodeo.
So many people openly say they prefer rodeo
People still on dbr too
This really really really hurts me to say this, but who is talking about Sir Lucious Left Foot in 2020?
Well I just hope you stopped interacting with them cause they have s*** taste
Yeah I actually haven’t hung with them in years so god bless 😂
I truly dont understand ppl's dedication on making it seem like MBDTF aint an amazing piece of work
MBDTF was great but I think the experience made it even more special.
First of all him proving people wrong making a damn near perfect album after polarizing responses with 808s. Then Good Friday’s
Then VMAs and all of the art extra s*** just took it to a different level.
i dont know why no body brought this up but run the jewels is about to become super irrelevant
