ion kno i literally never hear anyone talk about it i feel like guns n roses are the most irrelevant "classic" rock band today
eagles.
somehow have one of the best selling albums of all time but can anyone name a song/album that isn't hotel california
no ive listened to their debut, remain in light, and speaking in tongues. all good albums tho
Why did you skip their second best album?
on top of that whose trying to replicate or draw influence from that sound bro
i feel like guns n roses influenced all the trash buttrock music we got in the 90s n 2000s

@Sir_Swagalot To be honest, L.A. Woman is an album that I've noticed hasn't been mentioned as often in talks of classics in the past few years. I've always viewed Morrison Hotel as their late career masterpiece, not L.A. Woman.
Lmao that’s a great one. Very much the same way I see Sgt Pepper and Revolver: the former may have some iconic songs, but the latter is a way more consistent.
Lil Pump self titled
in 10 or 15 years people won't understand how he spoke for the whole era and why it was so goated
mbdtf has too much critical acclaim at this point, zoomers preferring pablo doesn't mean s***, people will be interested in mbdtf 60-70 years from now the same way young people check out albums like pet sounds or revolver today
this take is trash cuz ye will be there when most of those fast food artists ktt loves are long forgotten
And even beyond the music, Kanye is basically the supercelebrity of our time. People will probably know who Kanye is 20 years from now, even without hearing his albums. The fame and quality guarantees his legacy.

Strange Days is my favorite album from them though so what do I know lol

exactly. imo, consistency is just as important as iconic songs.

apparently a lot, because that's my favorite doors album too lol
They prolly just mad they missed the experience of when the album came out, so they try and put something they was around for above it
More Songs About Buildings And Food
Man I swear you reading my mind that’s also my 2nd fav
which one??
More Songs is better than the debut. Don’t let anybody tell you different lmao

there's pitchfork writers on twitter saying how they dislike the success mbdtf has gotten... they just point out all that flaws (which every album has) and the ppl that dislike kanye agree blindly. if mbdtf is not referred as one of the best albums of the this century it's cause of ppl that dislike kanye's politics
More Songs About Buildings And Food
haven’t seen anyone put that as their 2nd favorite lol. i listen later tho

they’re just saying that cause of Ye’s politics which is why I feel like his albums are gonna get hate if he keeps this political s*** going on
