Only a willfully ignorant mfer would be oblivious to the obvious contradiction that is the conflict of a system built on infinite growth and maximizing of profits on a planet with finite resources.
That moment when u realize the world industrialized with the technology they had at the time and now we have alternative sources of power that don't completely destroy the earth
Like solar panel farms in the Sahara, Mojave, Atacama, Gobi, and Namibian deserts could easily provide for the entirety of the world’s current electrical needs but guess who won’t invest
do per capita

Thanks for proving my point
USA and Europe have actually stagnated emissions in the past 30 years and i think china and india both 5x'd theirs. We're prolly at a point where our quality of life will take a downturn if these countries reduce their emissions idk i hope the worst doesn't happen but it probably will in our kid's lifetimes

So half the amount of the US, less than most of the G7, AND that’s factoring in their industrial base
China got the world beat in terms of EV and rail
Still burning coal and producing products
yeah lowkey
damn canada
59% of our emissions come from our military too, idek why we have one isn't that the point of America

That’s because of the shift of industrial base from the first to the third world as the first world centered around service economies because corporations wanted to lower prices

Yup what I was trying to say was on an absolute scale it won't go down without negatively affecting our quality of life
another thread where someone mentions socialism
another thread where fifty950 drops some facebook reaction memes and then dips when anybody talks to him seriously
damn canda f***ing up the game
Nah if theres smoke you niggas on your own
Thanks for Drake but thats it
Yup what I was trying to say was on an absolute scale it won't go down without negatively affecting our quality of life
Lol our quality of life is based around meaningless consumerism and product placement
We could do without half the random s*** we employ in our day to day if the way our social environment was structured was very different
For example, cities could be designed around foot traffic and public transportation to minimize and even eliminate cars
Cali, FL and my state TX are working on interstate rail thankfully
TX working on wind as well
With this infrastructure bill hopefully amtrak can accomplish their goal and more EV charging stations are built
Getting rid of capitalism will save the environment
The soviet union wasnt an environmental disaster
Theres plenty of clean air in China

China is not communist
Soviet Union was an oligarchy
Imagine being this dense
Y’all capitalism vs communism niggas make people not want to care about this crisis
