    Worked in his favor in Dawn of the Dead n 300

    Because he didn't write the first and 300 is just shot for shot from a comic that itself is style over substance. Everything else failed after cause he either wanted a voice in the writing or had to make it off his own vision.

    Those first two films worked best cause he had zero ego but two hits in a row and he started thinking he was the good thing in em.
