where do I begin?

first off, the second line literally says "act like you're somebody's daughter," implying that women have to act a certain "lady-like" way only to reflect on the reputation of their father, a man, as if women don't have their own autonomy over how they're perceived.

"can't get a tan from your phone light"
"or maybe you go for a walk somewhere that is not a mall"

lines about how women are only good for how they look, that their interests solely are about shopping and their image.

"and then you got the ones..." clearly says that he's not talking about someone specific, this is just addressed to women in general.

and don't even get me started on the domestic abuse lines. "But you stick around, 'cause who's out there that's better for you?"

what kind of person thinks that someone deserves domestic abuse? this person is suffering, being told to alter their body for this man, but not have it shown to other people when they're outside, and then made to alter it again to get it reduced, and drake has the audacity to make this about the woman, not about the f***ed up man doing this to her.

and there's not much to say on the anti-sex work line. there's nothing wrong with being a s***worker, and there's nothing wrong with making money off of it and using it to do whatever you want. it's their body, they can do what they please.
