Classic
Change, Neighbors, and Immortalized is top tier hip hop. Perfect song writing. I like listening to those songs pair with jay electronica leaks from the 00s. The other songs on the project are so weak in comparison, should’ve never put that song out over the Bryson beat
Cole’s greatest album is in there with better sequencing and maybe some song shifts (one or two songs from the FHD anniversary edition definitely were conceptually for this album)
Replace Immortal and Deja Vu with False Prophets and Everybody Dies, rearrange the tracklist, and it's a classic

You see it!!
it’s definitley an example of an artist making a safe album if that makes sense
I’d give it an 8.5-9. 4YEO such a classic song and the intro one of my most played songs by Cole
Mid pack
never understood the hate that album gets. outside of fold clothes that s*** fire
Folding Clothes is actually fire
the sleepiest of all his albums. a true 10pack of ass
Fall off takes the title for his sleepiest album now, especially that second disc

Yeah tbh. 2 discs of perfectly middle of the road average pedestrian music
Fall off takes the title for his sleepiest album now, especially that second disc
By far
It’s great there’s 2 songs that kinda stink but they still have big redeeming qualities
Getting fingered to this album was the only highlight of this album
HELP NOBODY ACKNOWLEDGING THIS??
GIRL HOW
You know, I remember getting a ride back from my mom's cancer surgery around the time it came out, and since it was a 2 hour drive, I figured I throw it on to fall asleep since that was the meme at the time and I was actually tired
But you know.....it really captured my interest in the sense of....it legit reminded me of my best friend who held it down for me when I was struggling at the time, even though he was juggling doing his "business" while taking care of his daughters.
It really brought something out of me, and as much as I clown on J.Cole, I think back to this album and remember sometimes s*** is bigger than myself and it's important to show love to those who show love to you and those around you.
this guy gets the entire theme of the project and even had a relatable moment to go with it, f***ing salute to you dawg

Many people felt the same way
First J Cole album that put me to sleep and have to admit that the haters were right.
Off season gave me some hope but fall off was the last straw
Great album, overhated
Replace Immortal and Deja Vu with False Prophets and Everybody Dies, rearrange the tracklist, and it's a classic
