But I will go in open minded as usual. I think the main reason people have bad first impressions of Drake album is because it doesn't match what they wanted to hear, not because it's actually bad.

i think it’s a healthy combination of both

• Focused album with no fluff. He has a lot of things that people are wanting him to touch on so I hope he dives into some or all of those things

• Along those lines, vulnerability. His music lacks the emotional connection that it used to have. I don’t blame him as his reliability is just not there anymore due to his stardom but I feel like a lot of things happened that can help humanize him if he’s willing to step back into that zone

• Minimal to no features. I’m not trying to hear Thug or 21 on a track no offense. This album is undeniably important to his legacy in the 2020s. If I know he’s willing to put something like that on here then unfortunately I already know how it’s going to play out. I’m open to background vocals and things like that however

• No beat switches. Honestly tired of them and unless there is an intentional and purposeful reason he can just keep it

• A clean rollout. Goes without saying but his rollouts since Scorpion have been s*** and honestly inexcusable for an artist of his caliber. Announce the album when it is ready. Rollout with visuals, trailer and a single. Drop it on time. I’d ask for physicals but that’s probably too much tbh

Every thing here is exactly what I’d want aside from conductor, Hes not good. That sleepy no energy stuff is the last thing we need rn
