  • What do y’all think about all these threads on KTT asking us what we think about data centers

The point? To have money change hands and make stock go up. To find applications you can sell to state and federal governments. Probably surveillance and military ones. To bust America's power grids so they can be privatized. To drive the cost of local compute out of reach and force people to use a cloud that you can charge rent on. To buy up more land.

Plenty of market incentives, few of which rely on "middle class consumption". That's not the direction this economy is moving.

In case of an investigation by any federal entity or similar, I do not have any involvement with this group or with the people in it, I do not know how I am here, probably added by a third party, I do not support any actions by members of this group.

Wouldn't it be smart to invest in RE related data centers? Incentives similar to solar, but you have more control over the investment/scaling etc

  • i support data collection

Did you see the part about breaking the grid and privatizing it?

Did you see the part about breaking the grid and privatizing it?

Yea I don't agree with everything with this direction. Should still be diplomatic regulations in place. Also need to learn more about how they're piercing through the grid too. It sounds like how RE is being controlled/monopolized already

“Authoritarian surveillance states” in capitalism looks like privately owned data centers processing all your information to suck everything out of your soul and wallet and sending any dangerous info to whatever government force can take care of you
