Mr.Mid was a shockingly weak release after a 5 year hiatus though. Not sure if he still has it in him, feel like his fire may have burned out at this stage.

That's great op but Damn (6/10) and MMTBS(5/10) were both kid albums. It feels like Kendrick just can't make good music anymore. He is even trying to go the Kanye route and stir up controversies by saying the F word. Hillbillies was one of the worst songs of the year. His music lately is starting to have no redeemable qualities.

Don't care much for Damn outside 3-4 tracks but I know it's widely beloved by many. S***, that album is what catapulted him into music stardom. As for Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers, I mean I love that album. Despite KTT swearing people don't like it or it came and went, it performed very well on the charts and the tour supporting it was one of the most successful tours of last year.

Kendrick is in the position to go whatever direction he wants, contrary to what people on KTT say. But I think the most likely direction he's going in is a collab project with Baby Keem and they calling they s*** The Hillbillies. That's how they're being billed on the Flog Gnaw fest at least.
