Smacked VoodooThere are some people who bring up colorism as a reason as to why Drake blew up more than Wale despite them making similar "rap music for the chicks" tunes. But I really think it's simply because Drake had the co-sign of Lil Wayne who was at the time one of the biggest rappers in the world. Also being recognizable from his years as a childhood actor also helped give him a boost.
Nah. Wale isn’t on Drake’s level because he can’t make good rnb and pop songs like Drake. Simple as that. It got little to do with skin color
