    Was Honest his pop attempt?

    Yes tracks like I Be U, I Won, Blood Sweat and Tears, Side Effects, I'll Be Yours were a little too pop when you compare it to his mixtapes like Steets Calling or DS1. Wasn't well received by the general public even thought personally I thought Honest was a great album.

    Really dislike mob ties and One dance. I’ll be honest and say I usually only spin the album once or twice when it drops so a lot of the songs don’t stick with me. But a lot of his songs that catch on I find shallow. But that’s more of a commentary on current popular music… I do hate the fake tough guy act too

    I believe debating what's r&b and what's pop is pretty arbitrary. Almost all r&b is pop by virtue of the industry, but not all pop is r&b, but in some ways contemporary pop is almost always influenced by r&b
