Well I can’t argue with anything you’re saying but I think that just reassures my sentiment of trying to avoid directly comparing artists across different generations/time periods. They’ll all be remembered for different reasons and the only definitive takeaway is guys like Jay Z and Lil Wayne helped pave the way for guys like Kendrick to carve out their own legacy.
