Morale, Donda, Its Almost Dry and Clipse albums only ones to really write home about this decade. Maybe 1-2 more. Truly the worst era of music ever, all genres. Its a wasteland

I don't really have a true mainstream RAOTY that year I checked my apple replay

  • I love seeing Kendrick get his proper respect itt. I was too immature and ignorant at the time to realize that morale was a future classic

Idk how mainstream this can feel

I got MUSIC as one of them yes but I really enjoyed how sharp & precise The Elephant Man's Bones felt

Without sounding cliche, for me it restored the feeling nothing else touched that when it came to that genre

The younger people really see Carti as a god so having 2 albums that can be extremely influential in the 20s alone is gonna help his argument

Deffly a weak year mainstream-wise don’t blame you

As a borderline unc/old head or whatever Carti is definitely one of the greats in his own lane even if he isn’t really a rapper rapper

Yeah I mean, u can easily see it in all of the younger people than him

Whether they making arguments on who Carti is inspired from or who he sounds like, that's one thing

The fact is the people are copying him, they could copy Future or Young Thug if it was so modern/cool

But they copy Carti for a reason

    I gotta commend it
