As we get further away from WWII, I feel like they're going to have to change Magneto's backstory, unless they want the character to be like over 80 years old.

At this point, I think the character actually needs to be black in order to preserve a similar origin story. Or they can keep him as a jewish guy and say that he found a way to stop himself from aging.

This is going to sound like me nitpicking but Storm is supposed to be dark. Her skin tone varies in the books because there is a HUGE problem of colorism and racism in comic books, especially the Xmen. This isn't any Twitter woke s*** i'm trying to peddle either it's a legit problem. Characters like Sunspot and Monet are the biggest examples because they went from Black/darker shades of brown to white over night.

I know she's brown in the comics but depending on the character their skin tone always vary especially if they're black. For example this is her in her solo series from the early 2010's

Now this is her in current book Marauders (it's really all over the place in this one tbh)

I always thought she was brown skinned tbh. It actually would be odd to see a dark skinned live action storm based on how she’s always looked in comics or cartoons but again it wouldn’t be an issue if the actress nailed the role

I'm usually the guy that doesn't care unless they nail the role but this time i'm going to need to see someone a little bit darker.
