I agree with this.
No one ever wants to honestly confront the fact that guns aren’t what’s new here, it’s the prevalence of horrific mass shootings that is relatively new. That should tell you something but people want to ignore that because it’s far more complex than muh gun ban.
This take is pretty stupid too because unrestricted and unregulated gun ownership is dumber than rocks too tho
Depending on where you get them they can have whatever in them like I only buy disposables from 1 shop that I trust
But if there’s no foul play then there’s virtually nothing too bad about them
going to have to do some research of my own.
cause yea idk i think these things maybe are not as bad as cigs, but definitely something that hurts the users health.

How is this the coldest take when the biggest talking point after every mass shooting is to ban guns? You talking just to talk right now.
I agree that there needs to be stricter gun laws but absolutely no way banning guns is a good idea. That's the start of how authoritarianism begins. (Which is already kind of happening)
Agreed plus criminals will always somehow find ways to get guns
Fr, couldn’t imagine living in a country where the gov and criminals have access to firearms
In the US specifically since there are already more guns then peoples a gun ban wouldn’t work
Everywhere else it works
ketchup is far and away one of the worst condiments and maybe one of the worst inventions ever. s*** is nasty
the smell is just nasty
Screens can't replace human interaction and also I do think that social skills have become worse and worse.
I never said screens can replace human interactions, and ya that would make sense due to more and more people shifting to suburban living which doesn't promote social interaction outside your very small circle

I mean equating regulating of gun ownership to a complete ban of guns is just completely asinine and the easiest way to just disregard the whole concept so instead they act like people are coming to take all the guns.

This. We’re a very unique country.

It’s like X
Pure X won’t harm you as long as you don’t take stupid amounts obviously but there’s a lot of f***ed up s*** some plugs cut with that cause the ODs

u living in it rn
why are y'all in here saying leisure activities are a "waste" of time lol
Hustle culture brainrot doesn't allow for people to spend time doing things they enjoy anymore. Get to work kid!

I’m for better regulations.
There shouldn’t be any loophole that allows a gun owner to sell their guns without any background checks being done.
I’m for better regulations.
But we can't even really do that because the mention of "more regulations" to gun nuts is just interpreted as a complete ban and then there's a stalemate

Have you ever read the book the "Coddling of the American Mind"? I think you should because it's really interesting and makes some amazing points. I agree with you, suburbs are not well set up. Another factor we should agree on is that parents are extremely fearful for their kids too. This hinders the ability of children to go out and get real world experience.
At least I'm communicating with other people about their lives and hearing different view points. With gaming you're just isolated clicking buttons.
Dude this is gonna sound crazy but you can actually play video games and have friends and... Strap in for this next one : you can play video games with your friends

Don’t confuse petty online discourse with legislation though. The states that give a damn are trying. It’s the fed that needs to do better.

Where did I say that you couldn't?

People of Australia were willing to turn in their guns
Can’t do that with 300 million people half of which will probably intensely disagree with it
Also what's wrong with doing things by yourself
Social isolation is dangerous. Also I'm not saying that self reliance is a bad thing, but total social isolation is one of the major reasons our society is so f***ed up at the moment.
