I love the album and still go back to it often, but yeah.
S*** really came and went cause dude hardly did much to promo it. Tour was cool but he had to cut it short due to health. It be like that, but he then went on to do absolutely nothing with keeping it in the public conscious. They still submitted it to the Grammys though
that fake movie s*** pissed me off
when he was 21 savage, it was a funny one-off
but there’s clearly a real movie to go along with this album that my eyes have not seen, and I’m kinda sad bout that, actually
Yeah, Drake albums are the epitome of came and went
Drake’s more of a single artist like Flo Rida
But mfers not ready for that convo
Post 2015 yes
yeah I go CMIYGL, Igor, & Flower Boy
Wolf was my first time ever hearing him but I’ve never gone back to the album in full in a while
I love his progression
yea it’s Call Me, Igor, Cherry Bomb personally
his progression is definitely amazing
Chromakopia feels…incomplete tho to me idk why. music still amazing of course

It's obnoxious seeing all these other artists coming out with their own movies and s***, and this nigga either faked that whole s*** or just decided against dropping it.
F***in Logic gotta movie coming out man

I miss when I liked Logic that’s crazy lmaooo

Yeah I like Chromakopia but it fell out of my rotation kinda fast ngl. Darling, I should’ve gotten a single push imo… that’s my favorite
Would you say this was his best rollout? S*** felt so refreshing. + that video of him during sessions was peak.

i would say that this rollout definitely felt more active overall, especially leading up to it
but idk, there’s something about CMIYGL era…it’s like he fully found himself and chromakopia is now the continuation of that. I think that was a better rollout in fully being himself, but this one feels better thought out overall

This really his last album?
"I think selling out an arena tour for a platinum album is a good argument that the album didn’t come and go."
I agree. With your above post as well

people care so little about this album it doesnt even exist in their mind. tragic.
The adoration for this album is so forced
The adoration for this album is so forced
Because it’s still a well put together album lol.
just the least enjoyable Kendrick album.
Never listened to this but I did hear a Vic Mensa reference track for this lmao
It’s actually not bad
Bey washed Jay on almost every track though lol
When it came out it was a decent couples car ride listen, especially if your girl was a Beyoncé fan
But yeah this definitely came and went
The adoration for this album is so forced
It’s really not, it’s a masterful body of work
Pretty even with GNX imo, most days I’d rather hear MMTBS than GNX, both albums have what the other doesn’t and fits a certain emotion and mood
A solid example I think is Vince Staples Dark Times album
Good and overlooked.
I mean there isn’t much to it respectfully
Like it’s the kinda album that should (?) come and go. Good straightforward album but what is there to latch on after a while
You get most of what there is to get in the first few spins. Same with the self titled Vince album with Kenny beats

I mean its cool but I go back to his previous 2 way more
Man shut yo b**** ass up
Get off on them niggas then p**** ass b**** ass nigga acting like u getting bullied by niggas online
I can tell you a b**** ass weak nigga, bc why tf u sitting and crying about it acting like Im the one personally doing it to you
“You cant say s***” what pathetic excuse for a man let other niggas dictate what they can and cant say
I was being reasonable but this the 2nd post you done referred to me out my name so pro tip if u gone refer to niggas out they name make sure u dont make it so clear that u are a b****
Whole lotta yapping lmao f***ing loser.
Grade A Kendrick d***rider is all you are. Mfs always on here quick to make a joke every time I say some s***. You just lying to make yourself sound better in-front of all your fellow Kendrick glazers. Go cope p****.🤡
It’s actually not bad

Its a solid album in a vacuum but I dont either fanbase actually wanted a collab album between the 2. Probably would've worked better in the 2000s or in the Self titled era.
12 pages and i havent seen this
Hyped up as the next big thing until the weekend was over
It’s actually not bad

I might give it a chance tonight since my Kendrick/SZA concert I could go for an album close to that vibe
