also almost like there's a strong solidarity among those groups, resulting in them often using a shared identity called LGBT to encompass all queer people.

almost as if even though i don't speak in absolutes, one would hope that a nigga that's so cool with gay people would not disrespect trans' people's identity for no reason. but maybe said nigga only rocks with the LGBT when he has something to gain from it and not from just a regular human to human respect.

i feel like a lot of niggas on here try to pass off accountability for being a respectful person by saying "they're just from the hood" which is disrespectful in itself.

it's not about knowing every detail of a community you aren't apart of or knowing all the particular verbiage. it's just about showing somebody and a community respect.

I’m just saying that it’s not like there’s no logic to treating gays one way and transsexuals another. They‘re not the same identities. It’s worth understanding where people are coming from if you want to convince them on these issues. It’s not like what WSG did is unnatural.
