No, age is not a social construct. Aging is a biological process. You could argue that the behaviors we associate with being young and old is a social construct, but aging itself is a documented, observable biological process. You are not using my logic.

Age involves the objective passing of time. Gender simply refers to the the way you present yourself in society which USUALLY correlates with biological s***but doesn't have to. Furthermore consensual adult transgender sexual encounters harm nobody. S***between a minor and an adult who presents himself as a kid is harmful to the kid which is why consent is a thing and children can't consent

See you’re trying to be slick by saying aging process, when I said age. Nobody is talking about the actual process of getting older. I’m referring to your age, as in the number. As in myself am “24”, if people say time is a concept who’s to really say what age we are. So yes that makes it a social construct.
Because depending on what age you are based off society, dictates what you can or cannot do, such as consent to have sex, driving, drinking, etc.
So once again where do we draw the line?

We have documented verified evidence as to how the brain ages and matures and how behaviors change as you age which is the basis (whether you agree or not, and this isn't the case for some outdated laws or beliefs) for laws.

I'm from NY and I see trans/gay people out and about all the time.
It might be more accepted now then when I was growing up but it's still not the norm.
