i doubt em even does anything on the label. it's probably a few staffers who just send press releases, give them advance funding, and help with merch fulfillment. thats legit all labels do in their most primitive form.

have they actually released anything else under shady yet? just WWCD right? there's basically no reason Shady would promote albums not being released under their label. like theyre not gonna promote Pray For Paris if they arent actually the publishing/distro label. they did some s*** for WWCD even if it was lackluster. they did an okay job handling Boogie imo given what resources they have. realistically its the image of the label too, people think of it as the Em/Yela/Slaughterhouse label. there's no organic hype for it like there is for TDE (or even Dreamville)
