Mentioned earlier in this thread, humans are the only animals that have the capacity to even consider morality. With the higher level of intelligence/consciousness the onus is then placed upon us to do better and make ethical choices. There are animals that rape, does that mean it's no big deal for humans to? Of course not. But oppositionally, there are humans who are vegan so should all animals be vegan? Of course not.

A lion does not concern himself with questions of human morality, he simply kills the gazelle. And that's fine.

Ironically there's not many tribes that do that any more because factory farming has become so common it has led to the wild animal population absolutely plummeting. Wild animals used to, at one point, be all the animals. Now they make up 4% of mammal biomass, while farmed animals make up 62%. Humans make up the rest. We've extincted hundreds of species because we have a dozen or so on a pedestal of "special farmed animals for eating".

I didn't think I needed to specify, once again, the fraction of a fraction of a percent of meat eaters who are indigenous tribesman and who hunt to survive are exempt from this discussion.

It’s less about believing conspiracies and more about being willing to have the conversation, while also admitting there are things, even within the official stories, that purposely get withheld from the public, which is hardly even a conspiracy at this point.

When it comes specifically to the moon landing, I can understand the arguments for why the US felt that it needed to land a firm and decisive blow in the space race and how that could theoretically lead to all it being a hoax, but when it comes time to present actual evidence, and I mean no disrespect here, it assumes that the perpetrators of the conspiracy, so NASA, our top scientists and engineers, as well as the government, were among the stupidest people in the world. It is, in my opinion, the only way the conspiracy holds any water, but they just… weren’t.

There were hundreds of thousands of people who worked on the first Apollo project, and even if you want to confine the number to those who were only involved in the very advanced stages of it, it would still be a number astronomically higher than any who could realistically be involved in one of the most complex cover-ups in world history.

You have to assume that the evidence like no stars in photos, the flag “waving”, the rocks that were “obviously fake and part of the set” and the “hot spots” that were definitely studio lighting and not from the sun somehow made it past the scrutiny of hundreds of the brightest minds in the world, only for Jim-Bob in Arkansas to figure it all out. And that’s really just the tip of the iceberg in regard to the evidence. I only brought up the most popular and practical. You also have conspiracies about erroneously reported solar flares, radiation, heat, footprints and the surface of the moon, all of which can only hold up if you believe the people involved were f***ing idiots.

Furthermore, you have India, China and Japan who were able to verify Apollo landing spots via their own lunar probes, and the presence of retroreflectors, the first of which was detected a few short weeks after the first moon landing. No country has ever attempted to refute this, including Russia who has their own. Retroreflectors are obviously not proof that man walked on the moon, but they are absolute proof that the US landed on the moon when they said they did.
