It’s just odd to me that Rivers who’s been to known to be a control freak is now so hands off he doesn’t even have control of the track list. I always felt Brian was a little bit different where he just liked writing music and wasn’t as wrapped up in the overall production. Van Dyke and Tony Asher writing the lyrics kind of leads to believe that.

White felt sequenced intentionally. King of the world and LA girlz are on the second half so it definitely wasn’t just packing the hits on the front.
