when i first met them, they were the 4th band opening before the headliner

dudes were chill and more or less nice. andrew the drummer was super super nice. the bassist tim i remember we talked about bjork but it was mad f***ing awkard. thomas, the main guy, i think we talked about mars volta. oddly enough i talked to them all by themselves at separate points of the night lmaooo. anyway, it completely blew me away though. like i was f***ing obsesseeeddd with them and here i was chilling w them.

anyway

i saw them like s***load more times. Then motherfuckers get a song on guitar hero and press on like AP magazine. Thomas became a huuuuuuggeee a******!!! dude became a huge mad diva. straight up ignored everyone LMAOOO. even ppl that he'd spend the night at and were sorta tour friends, he straight up ignored their asses LMAOOOOO

when they passed through here, i met Ed out n about. he was telling me how they loved Austin more than practically anywhere else in the united states. my friend met thom at dinner later that night but...she was their waitress LMAO so she couldn't like...do anything

BUT yes, thats really what its all about. just talking like regular people. and it's not so much about talking about them, but rather people always want to talk about how much THEY (the artist) mean to THEIR lives, which i mean, straight up, ppl dont care about yr life like that in a span of 10 seconds of meeting you lmaooo

but yeah man, ive have good times and awesome times, and...jsut eh whatever times meeting artists. overalll it's been worth it i think
