I reeealy liked it
It's 4 sure gonna stay in my rotation for a while

But there's one thing I'm starting to dislike in Weezer and it's that some of their song feel "fake". They sound like Weezer wasn't a real band making real music but just a bunch of comedians making a short sang interlude to an episode of a show or smthn

Some songs (not only on here) are just trying to be catchy imo and it's maybe fun when you listen to them once but then they completely loose depth and feel boring idk

For example Playing My Piano is a skip and I really could live without it being on this album

Other than that a beautiful piece of work

dead roses has a line that says “they beat you until you begged for life” which references his father in his 70s, back in 2018 coming home from work in la at train station got violently attacked - severely beat up, he now he can’t eat solid food anymore since and his losing his mind
