flipflop right tho he being doing that with the drama so if that’s what gets to you take some break, i know i did for months! and came back full of energy to do this

just post when it feels right - but mostly don’t maintain or force to save anything upon anyone who doesn’t send you back the love and will turn their back on you at any giving chance, even if you have history - i know what im talking about trust me and im thankful i had real ones here to cheer me up through it and keep my head above water

yeah age doesn’t play in this - we all care when it comes to people you share history with or personal stuff - it feels personal

the production and mixing is so tight and crisp, the songs sounds new and so catchy pop yet the album sounds so authentic and... minimal altho it’s so grandiose with the orchestra

i keep pitching myself while listening to it wow is this really a weezer album

but it is, all the rivers undefeated hooks are there with the harmonies and the beach boys flavor especially on the chorus of la brea- so brian wilson

im happy it’s short enough that it doesn’t drags on - much like the green album, it’s a smart approach when there’s an idea behind it

but im also more relief they didn’t go the easy route, anyone who thinks orchestra would think slow and boring but rivers was smart enough to keep it upbeat and do bops - while still having beautiful sad melodies with heartbreaking songs and backstories to it, especially dead roses which shattered me when i found out

absolutely AOTY and we still have another =w= otw

it’s gonna be worth it - not just for the album quality but also bc of how tight and organic the production and mixing is here

yeah it's all just stuff they wrote together and demoed at the time from what I read
