There's alot of scum roaming this earth that preys on weaker people

Elderly and mentally/physically disabled people are often an after thought in social justice movements as if their lives didn't matter but I'm pretty sure the assault numbers are higher than we'd think...shameful fr

Yeah it's unfortunate, so often it's something people won't think about or consider at all, but it's actually alarmingly common.

In I believe late 2014 my grandfather (who was 87 at the time) was in an aged care facility, they had some people in a separate wing that were like special cases, violent dementia and so on. One day some guy from the other wing got out, just wandered into my grandpa's room out of the blue and beat the s*** out of him while he was in the bed the whole time with no way to fight back.

Luckily he was able to make a full recovery from it and kept going strong for another year, but many others at that age aren't that lucky.

Yeah he was a real trooper, s*** was pretty wild though
