the classic one that came before that one above: don’t breathe
classic but underrated, psychological s*** that inspired silent hill: jacobs ladder (the 90s one)
classic but slept on: maniac (the 80s one)
my bro @Bad_Finger_Boogie writes scripts and is as big on horror as me, what would u suggest badfinger???
yeah depends what you're looking for @sfsorrow I can definitely approve of Invisible Man, Don't Breathe, Jacob's Ladder and Maniac (both og and remake) though, all great stuff
If you're looking more vintage, og Halloween and Suspiria are some of my faves, as well as og Texas Chain Saw, Day of the Dead, Hellraiser and The Thing
If you're looking a bit more modern I highly recommend the two Strangers movies (both exceptional for different reasons) and The Blackcoat's Daughter for suuuuure

G Royalso my all time fav horror film is Blair Witch but i just assumed you've seen it lol
but if u haven't for some reason, do it!Absolute masterwork, I even have the tie-in book and have seen all the faux docos and stuff haha
The commentary is almost as great as the movie itself, they really reveal a tonne of cool secrets
