I enjoy the late 2000s kinda corny feeling some of it has because it makes me feel nostalgic (I think this is why a lot of people really hate it maybe but tbh it makes me like it more)

It's super fun and catchy none of the songs are boring

I feel like they accomplished what they were trying to do w/ the album it just is something that a lot of people didn't want

and Put Me Back Together is their best song tbh

Yeah same. Don’t get the hyper focus on lyrics with them. They’ve always had goofy lyrics. Pinkerton is just the most melodically interesting and compelling in my opinion.

every weezer albums are hated at release unless it rocks hard i got into them with the red album and was bullied for loving the spider and bc the album wasn’t like pinkerton this still happens if like I bring up love for pacific daydream reddit loses their s***
