The song Fake Plastic Trees (one of my favorites still) that Haley covered is off that album. It’s their most alt rock record and I’d say Thom’s voice is more pleasant on it than any other. It’s clearly where Chris Martin from Coldplay got his style and same for Matt Bellamy from Muse, at least both bands early stuff.
