pardon me used to be a fav of mine from that album, also there’s a demo of my best friend there that is pretty cool with a beach boys harmonies acapella intro before it goes into the song, it’s the best part of it and funny that rivers cut it out but i can see why he did bc it doesn’t reallly click with the rest of the song, feels disconnected

wish too that rivers would use this melody of what is this i find or blast off but he’s cursed with these songs: he knows all the fans knows them and loves them if he uses them and changes all the lyrics he will be buried alive by the fans, and he can’t really use these melodies and keep their lyrics out of context since it tells an opera story .. so it’s either he finishes sftbh or leaves it behind and i think he knows that

heart songs so beautiful tho yeh it’s one of the songs rivers shows who he is, super genuine, i mean he always is but he really opens up on what makes him here in a way ppl don’t portray him to be - he has always loved pop music
