:((( judt hit her on my homies phone im down bad frfr
Pain. Regret. Hangover. F*** me lmao
Just listened to the Space Rock Opera, was that what Pinkerton was originally supposed to be since it had Pinkerton songs mixed into it, also that ending song with Why Bother playing in the background
Listened to Green again I like it more this time, but it still kinda feels weak for me, I'd put in the middle of the pack on the upper end. I did like the ending songs much more this time around compared to my first listen. I think its too in middle of the road of being rock like Pinkerton or Poppy like the White album, I just prefer it when they go to one extreme or the other instead of having this mix they have in green.

Still think it’s solid for what it is

yeah when he scratched the whole project he kept half of the songs for pinkerton since out of context they still worked
longtime sunshine is like the ultimate weezer ballad
how u liked it overall?

imo as soon as you realize it’s full on harmless power pop album it’s a great album, it’s no nirvana pinkerton and it’s no modern pop white, it’s just big time power pop like early beatles songs but louder - the cars kinda of stuff but more weezer:

this but instead of clean guitar it’s loud guitars

or this but just weezered up in 2001
idk to me having this in mind and no associating to other weezer stuff made more sense and appreciation for what green aims to be
long time sunshine, perfect song
for longest time it was my goated weezer fav song oat
