Love la brea tar pits like itโs the first time hearing it. Ok human for aoty can only be topped by Van Weezer this year
in my opinion
What album? Artists? So many hip hop subgenres/cultures left unturned
put me on goo!
Three 6 Mafia are the kings of the subgenre. Their early stuff are their main classics, some of the darkest and rawest hip hop ever recorded.. their debut album "Mystic Stylez" and the compilation of their early years "Underground Vol. 1" are their most definitive.
They also have plenty of essential solo and side projects from the same era, just like Wu-Tang but far more underground.
After that they steadily got more commercial and less dark with each project, while still maintaining their quality as a group.
Then you have this guy Tommy Wright III, whom I don't know much about yet tbh, only heard a few songs here and there. But from what I've heard he's on par with Three 6 Mafia and gives them a run for their money. His first 3 solo albums and his group album N.O.D. are considered his classics.
Then there's this album "Dreamworld" by Blackout, once again don't know much about them yet but they're on the same level as Three 6 Mafia and Tommy Wright.
At last but not at least, there's this guy Lil Ugly Mane. He's an immensely talented 2010's artist who does a really great revival/imitation of the Memphis sound with his own twist added to it. His whole discog is dope but Mista Thug Isolation and Uneven Compromise are the places to start with him.
Once I digest everything I'll pave my way from there to more obscure releases

The list I gave way back then was off the top of my head and I haven't thought of it again so I still stick with that list
I think my natural rushed reaction was probably the truest to my taste

Pardon me is one of weezers best songs
Itโs one of make believes best for sure and is a really great song
So I apologize to you
And to anyone else that I hurt too
I may not be a perfect soul
But I can learn self-control so pardon me
Pardon me, pardon me my friend
I never realized how much the lyrics are really good on make believe and emotional
But people donโt like the album
Which baffles me.

Itโs not my favourite but Iโve grown to enjoy make
Believe
Peace โฎ๏ธ >>>
Counting all the flowers
Waste the precious hours
I need to find some peace
All these problems on my mind
Make it hard for me to think
There is no way I can stop
My poor brain is gonna pop
And I don't have a purpose
Scattered on the surface
I need to find some peace
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh
Itโs not my favourite but Iโve grown to enjoy make
Believe
