The White album is the one i wanted to listen to next because i remember it being quite popular when it dropped iirc, but i didnt want to dive into something more aimed at their core fans and then be turned off from them

Hopefully gonna check it out this week

i been obsessed with this song lately, too relatable

it’s like only in dreams levels

cant believe this song was kept secret from 1993 to today! rivers said they recorded it for van weezer but isn’t sure if the label will put it on the album or not 😞

yeh white album had a big tour with panic and reached 5 on billboard, it’s odd how rivers reacted to what he calls lack of commercial breakthrough but i think bc he signed with a hype label and they kinda made him go through a more throwback album he thought it would paid off bigger than what it did, i don’t think he understands rock just doesn’t hit like that nowadays - it still had grammy nominated

white is perfect door bc it gives you real serious hints of blue or pinkerton but also modern production of what they are today and tomorrow (even some OKH energy ahead of time with like jacked up my favorite from it that is like the first time a piano takes a lead spot in a weezer song) so it’s like a best of without being a best off it really paints you a great picture of what weezer is at its core

bangers on bangers, hooks for days, no pretentiousness s*** and lyrics that stays on your mind thinking about it
