I know a diehard phish fan this makes sense
Two tracks left on this and I either wasn't in the mood to hear this rn, or I'm just not into this band/vocalist. Probably the latter. I remember only really liking a couple tracks from Rat Saw God too. I like MJ's solo music though.
Elderberry Wine is a nice song.

Im in the exact same boat! I’m a sucker for this type of stuff, love MJ, but every single song just kind of bounced right off me. I think it’s the songwriting for me. The lyrics and melodies that the lead vocalist goes for aren’t super sticky or engaging for me

Yeah, the voice and the melodies don't engage me enough to even get to the lyrics lol I tried to follow along a bit on Apple Music but yeah.
Wasn't huge on the last one but I'm a sucker for anything grungey so I should check this out
Albums great
is there a specific name for the style of strained singing Karly Hartzman does?
