Do you realize how dumb you sound
"only the homeless get homes?"
uhh
If I’m on my own at 21 and a minimum wage job and have no home should I get a home?
If I’m on my own at 21 and a minimum wage job and have no home should I get a home?
yes
housing should be a human right
these are not republican talking points lel. there are certain elements of means testing that need to be scrapped due to admin issues, but universal access to all is not the answer here.
1. i don't believe in private schools. you are trivialising your own argument here. you say education should be universal, but also say the rich should be able to pay for better education. this creates inequality.
2. the working class will still be paying tax to subsidise the rich.
3. not necessarily, but there are administrative costs that could result in universal being easier. this is not always the case though.
4. no, we shouldn't. i literally said more investment is needed in that area. read my posts.
1. No, I want to eliminate private schooling completely.
2. They'll also be paying for their own children and children in similar/lower income brackets, while the rich pay far more to subsidise it lol. in fact, the the current standard for this proposal is paid mostly by a tax on wall street. but i guess we can go with whatever reality you want lmao
3. yes really.
4. Okay, so why charge tuition for public colleges
the government's actions is your responsibility. you elect them from amongst yourselves. asking "what can i do about this problem?" or saying that the government spending money on military against your wishes is nonsensical
yes
housing should be a human right
So who’s gonna make all these free homes
And you know people are fickle and picky about where they want to live
If I’m on my own at 21 and a minimum wage job and have no home should I get a home?
Are you living with a parent or anyone else and simply dont have your own home?
or are you living on the street/in your car

i'm not really into replying to bait, mate. you can continue on.
Yeah, and what really sucks is how they publicly shame kids that can't pay off their debt (which isn't even their fault, technically it's the fault of the parents). They'll stamp their hands with messages saying "I need lunch money", throw their food in the trash right after it's been served to them, or ban them from extracurricular activities. It's awful that young children are being humiliated in front of their peers because their parents can't afford to buy them food. Oh, but everyone that sees the problem with this is just whining, right?
I'm confused tho where this is. In my state if your parents income is low, you get free lunch or reduced lunch.

So if someone moves in their car for a week to get a house what happens

4. Okay, so why charge tuition for public colleges
1. cool. so do i.
2. but why should they if they are not in the socioeconomic group that benefits from it?
i think getting rid of tuition fees is a talking point mostly projected by the privileged. it ignores many of the issues.

this is the problem with means tested programs
some parents don't fill out the forms for one reason or another, some are just above the line of being able to get free lunch but still don't have the ability to pay all the time.

Everyone benefits from universal programs lol, thats literally the point.
So if someone moves in their car for a week to get a house what happens
Why do you do this ??
We both know, if any of this were to actually happen there would be guidelines and requirements. Stop acting stupid for a forum argument jesus christ lmao

Are you asking what happens if someone moves out of their house into their car in order to get a house????????
Everyone benefits from universal programs lol, thats literally the point.
but that is not true. some people are culturally different and do not need college.
there is alot of debate on making college free when the real debate is why are so many of the poorest and most vulnerable failing to even reach college? it is not tuition fees doing it. nobody cares about tuition fees. once you have reached that point, tuition fees are just an inconvenience.

Such as? TELL ME HOW. YOU ALWAYS SAY “THERE WILL BE REQUIREMENTS” BUT NEVER WHAT THEY ARE. BECAUSE THERE ISNT ANY. ITS NOT BLACK AND F***ING WHITE LIKE YOU IDIOTS KEEP SUGGESTING

I don't think I've ever posted ''there will be requirements'' so I don't know what you mean by I always say that lol. I never really discuss politics on a kanye west forum. Imagine why

you understand the top reason people don't go to college is because of the cost right lol?
and again, youre engaging in whataboutism
People who don't think college is for them can go to a free trade school, and as I literally told you, we can tackle inequities and flaws in the education system while making public colleges tuition free. it is not a choice
