I know what you mean but I'm torn on this. I can see her inspiration comes from soundcloud and punk aesthetic but I can also see where people can say it comes from rap and hip hop culture.

Billie's style is clearly inspired by SC rappers even down to the hip-hop influence in her music, it's just that those SC rappers who inspired her are inspired by old punk artists

I mean my statement was a reply to a disingenous comment that stated she was stealing from soundcloud artists, her being inspired more so by punks than soundcloud rappers makes much more sense (to me at least).
