The biggest winners were newcomers MK who were mostly carried by Zulu nationalism and the cult of personality around Jacob Zuma.

The DA vote is mostly a Middle class vote, and in part because they can present themselves as competent.

The ANC is still a very popular party and panafricainist. Malema has his own skeletons, this year he lost ground in because of Zuma more than anything.

This year's election show xenophobic parties are still minor players. ActionSA couldn't put together a percentage score, and PA were carried more by the Coloured vote not having a home
