The fact that the % of first day streams was larger than all of Drake, Cole, and Future's albums. The fact that the drop from the first to the second week was larger than Drake, Cole, and Future's albums. The fact more people are streaming Future's album this week despite it releasing two weeks earlier. These aren't meaningless numbers. They paint a picture of consumption habits. And the picture says that "people" (meaning everyone in the f***in country that streams music) aren't f***ing with the album as much as they did other albums from similar artists. And that says absolutely nothing about the quality of the album
I don’t think y’all understand how streaming works. I guarantee you people aren’t streaming whole albums anymore but are now making playlists. Wait For U is probably the only song that’s been put on dozens of playlists more than anything off Big Steppers. That does not mean the album is better than Kendrick’s. In that case as I said before then Madvillainy must be a trash album if you continue to use these metrics as absolute music opinions.
Yeah ok
Are the Drake stans in the room with us right now
That's literally u. I always see u s***ting on artist that have/had beef with Drake and defending him hard

I made a thread about one of the most praised hip-hop albums of the 2010's that just so happens to be a Drake album. Looks like you caught me red handed or maybe I like hip-hop in general

That's literally u. I always see u s***ting on artist that have/had beef with Drake and defending him hard
I never s*** on Cudi when they had beef and ktt taking either side was corny
They will never admit that this is purely about stannery and drake vs Kendrick lol
Again
They will never admit that this is purely about stannery and drake vs Kendrick lol
yep. Pusha, Weeknd, Harlow, Kendrick
We’ll see whoever drops next they gotta target

and Kanye
yep. Pusha, Weeknd, Harlow, Kendrick

Travis
The funny thing to me as they're actually going through this song and dance like they're interested in following chart data like its a legit "hobby" and its not because they are stans
Travis
Nah they love Travis cause he associates with Drake. Same reason why they love Future and Harlow. The next target will be Frank Ocean
I made like 10 posts going into painful detail about how much I love GKMC and I grew to love TPAB and how even though I think DAMN. is overhyped, it's still a really good album but because I also said I don't care for Kendrick's latest album and I said the album is clearly not what people are going back to based on its numbers and its performance compared to other recent high-profile releases, I've been called every name in the book and now anyone who cares about numbers at all is stupid and a nerd with no life lol. I promise you, If Kendrick's album was performing like Bad Bunny's album currently is, NONE OF THEM would be so angry. None.
They can tell that people aren't f***ing with this Kendrick album this time around and anything anybody says to reinforce that, either through numbers or just opinions, they'll get riled up. That's all that's been happening for these last 3 weeks.
I don’t think you can some up public opinion based on numbers alone but that’s beside the point
I think people are pretty tired of the same posters making these threads and hopping in using it to leapfrog into their own narrative on why they believe drake is the best.
You cannot deny that every single one of these turns into Kendrick vs drake, realisticly they are 2 artists occupying different spaces and the comparisons are getting tired.

It’s lk hilarious how they (esp greatdivine) will only post billboard records lists where Drake is at the top and pretend Drake has nothing to do with it. Any record that Drake doesn’t hold never gets posted or discussed by them.
Yall still crying about this

Well, to your point, Future's album dropped 2 weeks before Kendrick's album and while Future currently has 7 songs in the top 50 of Apple Music, Kendrick only has 3 songs.
With Bad Bunny, your point completely falls apart because his album dropped a week before Kendrick's album and he has 17 songs in the top 50, proving that yes, people are indeed listening to most of the album, not just one song.

Yeah, together
Midster Borale & the Mid Sleepers is also only #4 on Apple Music, 2 weeks after it’s release
I thought Gimmrick Midmar was gonna run 2022
What happened
What top 5 is he smoking on?
How you the best rapper of all time if no one listening to your s***
Bro did a half of CLB first week
cali we gotta do better
sme raw thoughts
Die Hard, Father Time, Purple Hearts, Count Me Out, Silent Hill.
That’s telling to me tbh you kept a lot of the most basic songs on here but left out a lot of his best gems.
Lol the real news should be that this song was able to chart as high as it did to begin with
Obviously not made with the expectation of getting radio play

Bad Bunny and Kendrick have completely different audiences and yes Bad Bunny will be played more outside but it doesn’t mean Kendrick’s album isn’t better than it. They’re albums for two different vibes but are both great
