Nah it's not. In sport the best athletes usually win at the end. In music nowadays the ones who usually win have the biggest d***rider and sometimes the quality matches the success but most often than not it doesn't.

I listen to music because i like the way it sounds plus im trying to hear the artists take on life and their experiences. That’s why we love music at the end of the day.

You’re trying to draw a comparison between a***yzing music sales and discussing sports stats to see who the best players are.

That’s a false equivalence. The sports equivalent to sales or box office watching would be comparing which player has more Instagram followers or sells more jerseys or who’s net worth is higher

Yeah I love sports because of a love of the games and the pure excitement it can provide. But that doesn't mean I can't have fun on the side trying to predict and a***yze it through fantasy leagues and sports betting.

That's at least how I look at this sales s***. And I get how people can do that with movies too. At the end of the day you're just trying to guess numbers. Doesn't matter where the numbers come from.
