Pusha dropped the diss and Drake went silent for 2 weeks, then he announced more dates to his tour, dropped the video for I'm Upset, posted the Scorpion tracklist and dropped the album. The album dropped, In My Feelings took over the world and that was it lol. It didn't even last up to 3 weeks. Drake's album dropped and that s*** was done.
Even Back to Back (which I don't really consider a diss record) did more damage to Meek's career even if not as a direct result. Meek admitted that people in the industry and even people in his city stopped f***ing with him after the song dropped, he became a permanent joke online (mostly because of all the dumb s*** he's done since then but still), he dropped that album in 2016 that flopped and then went to jail. It was like bad s*** after bad s*** for him after that diss. He even said so himself.
Drake just took a break for 2 weeks and returned like nothing happened and continued dominating like he was doing before the diss dropped. It even had Pusha questioning if there was a point to the diss in later interviews he did that year because he probably thought the moment would be bigger and would last longer.
