Edit: It all started when I asked her who her fave was. I said mine was Usher then she said Bruno. I did tell her I'm a Bruno fan too, but she didn't wanna hear it lol

Not that she her faves were bad, she really tried to convince me Bruno was a better artist than Usher. And she said 24k magic was not only better, but BIGGER than Confessions. I showed her how Confessions alone outsells all 3 of Bruno's albums. We ended up getting into this Bruno vs Usher debate in the middle of a arcade at the mall

Then she pulled the "but what has Usher done recently?" card calling him irrelevant. I told her that argument is stupid cuz Usher had about double the career before we ever heard of Bruno, and Usher is one of Bruno's biggest influences anyway. And of course, the stadium tour he did in Australia in 2018.

I asked her why Bruno is celebrated as this amazing songwriter with such great musical knowledge when his biggest hit got sued over and over again from older acts and he hasn't done anything impactful or influential in his decade long career. She got real mad then a called it "he got inspired". I said "being inspired is different from stealing"

I was lowkey heated, but figured I'd be fine the next couple hours as long as we didn't talk about music. Yeah! just so happened to come on the speakers about 10 minutes in laser tag, she called it the worst aging song from the 2000s so I knew I had to call it quits
