difference in quality of posts like some posts I can see that they literally just snapped a quick picture of their outfit and some posts it looks like someone went out with a dslr to specifically take a hq picture of his outfit just for this thread, almost like a photoshoot.

I am genuinely curious though.

again no shade to all of them & this thread, i‘m just curious.

I mean I wouldn't be surprised if this happened. Especially since quarantine started. Nobody will admit it. But does it really matter? A good fit is still a good fit and a bad fit is still a bad fit. Nobody on here really dresses extremely outlandishly anyway

I wouldnt mind it if DP didnt post a whole ass gallery everytime he pops in here

personally I’ve been dressing more deliberately when I go out more bc it gives me a sense of normalcy during these unprecedented times... either way is fine imo. It’s not dressup for me it’s more so just being free to wear whatever on a daily basis bc I’m laid off lol.

Yeah I agree, I always had this impression that taking a picture for WDYWT should be something unplanned and when I saw some of the pictures itt it looked like it was set up almost like a photoshoot if you know what I mean.

I was curious wether y’all considered that „cheating“ in a way.

I noticed that too, I guess he cross posts on here and on his Insta. I also thought it was kind of a gimmick to separate his posts from the others.

Oh yeah I noticed that on myself too. The older I got the more I gravitated towards a more uniform look. I‘m obsessed with the idea of a perfect wardrobe like a samurai‘s armor equipped for every situation.

on another note, I'm of the mindset that the photo quality relates to the vibe you're doing with the wdywt post. if it's a quick mirror selfie b4 you leave the house that's a deliberate choice as much as styling a look outside in the natural light is. natural light imo always makes an outfit look better so that's why I take mine outside my apartment. the indoor lighting at my place is WOAT.

I did not divide them based on wether a outfit is good or bad, it just seemed to me like there are two different approaches to this thing and as I said I always had the impression that a WDYWT picture should be casual or so tbh I don’t even know if that’s the right word for it but I think you get what I mean.

I have the same problem because we have a lot of trees around our house and they block off a good bit of the sunlight. I prefer taking picture outside too.

wdywt is supposed to be the outfit or one of the ones you actually wore during that day. not like some s*** you threw on for the pic, imo

but the pics pretty much very based on how comfy posters are in front the cam, posing or if they have someone or something to hold the cam. Plus most of these main guys more than likely curate they're fits cause they like fashion
