some baggy/wide legged joints would be best imo and you can still do jeans but that wash is not it

The fit on the jeans is not bothering me but the wash is kind of mid. Leveling up your pants game will definitely secure maidens.

I think the jeans look more off in this fit because of the darker brown tones of the jumper/shoes. For example I think those jeans would look okay if you lost the jumper and had the contrast of just the white tee.

I think proportions is what a lot of people struggle with in clothes so you already won half the battle.
