Not sure if anyone got back to you but Im 30-31 waist in jeans, 5'11, and got a size 1 of the cropped pair. The material is mad light and the waist was elastic so the sizing was pretty flexible. Idk if the ones with the belt loops will stretch out in the waist as much tho
