got the sauteed bean sprouts
minced pork and fermented fish patties
and then pork blood congee made bun rieu (friends recipe)

patty melt with gouda cheese and blistered shishitos on the side
stir fried rice cakes w chicken n spinach
mochiko chicken https://food52.com/recipes/81103-mochiko-chicken with quick pickled carrots, shanghainese style soy sauce pickled watermelon radishes, and soy sauce bonito rice ball
blts.... popped the bacon in the oven on a wire rack over a sheet tray, after a bit added the bread underneath to toast in the bacon fat

i mainly just follow recipes w some tweaks here and there tbhh
n i dont think i have great knife skills or anything
but ive always been like rly crazy abt food lol
like my fave shows in elementary school were alton brown n semi homemade w sandra lee 
n my moms also rly in2 eating/cooking food too
but i think alton brown gave me an interest in food science so stuff like serious eats is always something i enjoy reading when im bored lol
and i just make whatever recipe sounds yummy 2 me by while im browsing, whatever food im craving, or some rando interesting recipe that pops up while im tryna figure out a way to use something up
but by cooking a variety of stuff i think ive learned a lot
haven’t eaten cereal in forever and def not starting again anytime soon

The amount of rat feces and bugs we eat from factory made foods especially frozen foods is ridiculous

i also highly recommend this stuff:
for recipes calling for chicken stock
its vvvv salty tho so i usually dont add any salt to stuff until ive added this stuff in n tasted
and drain beans n stuff vvvvv well if im using it unless theyre labeled no salt added bc a lot them hav like salty bean juices
theres a low sodium version but ive never personally found it in a store 
its on amazon prime but its like double the price there

i just use these:

theyre like msg-less powderized bonito / kelp
think u can get a blend of the 2 too
theres a bunch of other brands as well
u can also apparently cold brew ur dashi according to david chang but im 2 lazy 2 even do that lol
