I'm just a lousy painter for Navy Ships, mainly aircraft carriers. Nothing special about the job.

How i get into this

The only way is if you happen to live near shipyards.

Navy veterans get in much easier than civilians

They're several around me, easiest way is to become a subcontractor for the various shipyards.

However subcontractors are underpaid, have no rights, are treated poorly, and are given bare minimum PPE. Basically it's horrendous working conditions.

You could get lucky and apply straight into the shipyard though.
