Otherwise I go to Detroit every now and then. Didn’t realize Detroit had chick fil a till the other day though. I used to cross the border just to get 5 guys before we got one in my city. I’d definitely do that for chick fil a if not for covid

It has its benefits for sure. Detroit gets basically ever major artist for concerts so I can see them there. Sports events obviously, they have 4 major sports teams and most of them suck so tickets are relatively cheap.

gamja tang translates to potato stew/soup and that s*** has always bothered me because potato is def not the star of this dish and some restaurants barely even use potatoes in their soup.

s***s actually a spicy pork neck bones, perilla leaves + other greens + sesame seed powder stew w a lil potato in their as well

ppl gotta realize in n out is competing w McDonald’s, Burger King, Wendy’s, and Carl’s Jr.’s.. and NOT shake shack, five guys, etc

Two completely diff price points (and also completely diff concept when it comes to shake shack.. the in n out vs shake shack thing never made sense to me at all and is almost 100% an east vs west coast thing more than anything)
