also that shop was literally the only place I’ve ever seen a macadamia vanilla flavor in the Bay Area. That’s why I went there. Not cause I’m some sorbet advocate.

Most sorbets I see are usually fruit based and I’m not a fan of those. This one tasted like regular ice cream.

Trust me I’m the last person you have to convince that ice cream is > sorbet.

Not saying you did but why not just eat ice cream then

Cookiebar by Chinatown in Oakland is like cream.. but better and more pricey (banana Oreo and Cinnamon Toast Crunch ice cream > )
Loards/Mitchell’s a classic but not my favorite. Shout out to them for being one of the first places w ube ice cream in the bay tho. That good asian representation. Also their chocolate shower ice cream is how I wish every chocolate chip based ice cream tasted.
The Black and Tan at fentons is a classic and must try but fentons in general is overrated af and Not worth the wait unless you’re a tourist
Little robot ice cream is mid af and any ice cream spot tryna do vegetable flavored ice cream is trying too hard
Smitten ice cream is gimmicky
Etc etc
